Blasts from the Past
Volume 33 of ¡El Playlist! celebrates the long departed (plus an event!)
Happy holiday weekend for those who celebrate. In the theme of celebrating the past, here are two now-defunct podcasts. But just because something isn’t new anymore, doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be acknowledged and even enjoyed, so let’s blast back to some older shows.
The BatNick Show
Description: This podcast is dedicated to exploring various tracks, poems and thoughts of mine. I liken the show to being a theater for the mind. A soundscape for you to listen and engage with as you are going somewhere or relaxing after a long day.
🎧Listen to The BatNick Show here (only on Spotify)
Episode recommendation: former host Nick, the son of Ecuadorean parents, suggests dipping into the short run of the podcast with any of the scores of my life series. It starts with Chapter 5: The Scores of My Life.

For So Cal Fans
On Wednesday, July 24th I’m speaking at The V Collective Sisterhood Wednesdays:
This month's topic is inspired by the podcast “La Vida Más Chévere”, with host Paulette Erato leading us into the concept of "Otherhood”, which celebrates women who thrive outside traditional roles of motherhood, offering a space to connect, share experiences, and find empowerment. Through engaging discussions and activities, we'll explore the diverse paths of womanhood, honor our unique journeys, and build a supportive community. Whether you're navigating career ambitions, personal passions, or anything in between, this event is for you. Let's redefine and embrace our multifaceted identities together!
