The fact that the “biggest shopping day of the year” starts immediately after we’re supposed to have given thanks for being…idk, American?

Gratitude and joy are in short supply right now. But choosing gratitude in direct spite of the capitalist hellscape we’re living in is a small act of rebellion. Choosing to hold onto joy is its own form of resistance.
I choose joy.
With that, I can sincerely tell you that I’m grateful for everyone who reads these missives. In a time when being a content creator of any stripe (eg: writer, podcaster, etc.) feels a lot like shouting into an empty void, your eyeballs on this here project make a girl feel loved.
