Kicking things off are four friends of La Vida Más Chévere:
My Most Authentic Life
If this one sounds familiar, it’s probably because you read (or heard) the LVMC interview with host Fede Vargas. Fittingly for today’s Grito de Dolores, Fede was born in Mexico.
My Most Authentic Life connects with guests that are living boldly and bravely. We hear from people that are choosing to take the road less travelled, inspiring and empowering you to create the life that you want .Host Fede Vargas celebrates his own transformational journey, reflecting on his successful career break and 15+ years in the rat race. When life was upended by a lay off and the pandemic, Fede embarked on a daily practice of reassessing, rewiring, and re-engineering, in the process unearthing his life's purpose. Through a unique blend of mindset, travel, and wellness, this podcast explores the full spectrum of authenticity. Fede is a former senior executive in the media and entertainment industry. During his 15+ year career he excelled in global content sales and international distribution. Born in Mexico and raised in Canada, he has lived in Europe, and has travelled extensively across Asia Pacific and Latin America. His mission is to share human experiences through his unique global lens. If you’re searching for the tools to create the life that you want to live, tune in to My Most Authentic Life.
He just released his 50th episode 6 Reasons Why Starting Over Is Beautiful, which is another cause for celebration! 🎉🎉🎉

Cafe con Pam
Another former guest, Pam Covarrubias is also Mexican. Born in Mexico and raised on both sides of the border, Pam is the host of Cafe Con Pam.
Cafe con Pam is the weekly podcast featuring fearless Latine/x and People of The Global Majority that break barriers, change lives and make the world a better place while living in the US. Cafe con Pam is the platform where Latine/x are able to share their stories and inspire one another through conversations about mindful productivity, business, and liberation. Of course, while enjoying a fabulous cup of coffee.
Table for Four: A Family Conversation Podcast
I know it’s unusual to recommend a family-focused podcast on a childfree platform, but Andre and Stefanie aren’t “those” people. They’re cool parents! Meaning, they get that childfree people exist and they don’t want to demonize us.
They invited me on their show to talk about supporting their childfree friends and we even talked about the shared bingos that even parents get, too. And like my parents, they also combine two different cultures in their family: Puerto Rican and Salvadoran.
Join the Molina family, a fun-loving Hispanic millennial family of four, as they share their stories and experiences on a wide range of topics that affect all families. From heart-warming moments to tough conversations, they provide a platform to learn, grow and connect with others. With special guests from different walks of life, their podcast is a space to laugh, cry and explore new perspectives. Tune in for exciting new segments and topics this season and be reminded of the importance of family.
Find them on all podcast platforms and YouTube. My favorite episode is Child Free People with yours truly. My favorite quote from this one is from about 28:54:
I designed this life to work with me, not against me.
Buena Vibra Podcast with Doctora Ortiz
Another podcast that’s also available on YouTube is a mental health show by Dra. Mildred Ortiz (who is also a future guest on LVMC). Dra. Ortiz is also of Salvadorean descent, and doing the work for our people.
Episodes offering information, insight and takeaways related to mental health and the field of psychology. Your host, clinical psychologist, Dra. Mildred Ortiz (psy28287) has over thirteen years of clinical experience and has helped many children, families, adults and couples offering psychotherapy services in English and Spanish. She continues to offer services and is Founder/CEO of Buena Vibra Psychological Services, Inc.
I was lucky enough to be on her show too, talking about dismantling the harmful cultural bullshit we all grew up with. Watch that episode on YouTube:
