Why did I do this? For 2 distinct reasons:
To introduce my listeners to new shows they might not know about yet, and
To give myself a break from content creation.
In the amount of time it usually takes to edit 1 episode, I was able to:
create, record, and edit 15 intros
make 15 social media reels
write up 15 sets of show notes
upload all of those and schedule them for release
All that and my downloads have skyrocketed! Turns out giving the audience a daily nugget has been great for growing the listenership.
From Tourist to Local
Why I like it: Mafe’s life has been an adventure, punctuated by a move from Venezuela to Canada. She’s sharing a snippet of that with the LVMC audience directly later this summer, but in the meantime you should listen to here show.
