At the moment No Buy Friday is more symbolic. Large corporations can easily absorb this. But it DOES send a message. Now if we begin to do a No Buy Friday every week or extend the number of days, that might begin to cause pain. I think, too, doing quiet protests near stores on no buy days would up the pain for retailers. Lots of potential here! btw only thing I bought was dinner at a family owned restaurant.
